The problem
Sports bettors are surrounded by statistics, picks, trends, news and opinions, but more information does not always lead to better decisions. The hardest part is often knowing what actually matters in a specific game and what questions should be asked in the first place.
What BSR is building
BSR is a pregame sports analytics platform designed to surface the factors that deserve attention, present probability-based analysis in understandable language, and give bettors a clearer picture of the game before deciding whether to place a wager.
Behind the product is proprietary predictive analytics software developed by Overlay Sports Analytics. The underlying methods and implementation remain confidential.
Built for the bettor who doesn't know what they don't know
BSR is designed so a user can open a game without already knowing which statistic, matchup, model or relationship to investigate. The product brings important findings to the user first, with deeper analysis available for those who want it.
Roadmap
The NFL is the first product currently under development. The longer-term platform is planned to expand into NBA, NHL and MLB while preserving a common scouting-report experience across sports.
